An outstanding effort by Kayla Poynter spurred Walnut Grove Warrior Varsity to a 6-0 win in seven innings over Brookwood on Saturday at Univ of North Ga. Walnut Grove Warrior Varsity fell to Ringgold 7-3 at Univ of North Ga. P Mckinney got the win for Ringgold. She allowed three runs over seven innings. Mckinney struck out nine, walked two and gave up five hits. Riley Patton couldn’t get it done on the rubber for Walnut Grove Warrior Varsity, taking a loss.
